2023 Enter around 13:45 Muro Saisei❗️...I only knew a little about him (*^^*) A special exhibition is being held here until February 25, 2024 ^ ^ This is a special exhibition of ``Animouto''❗️, which has been made into a movie many times. This memorial hall is built on the site of Saisei's birthplace❗️ There is also a memorial museum in Karuizawa, where Saisei often visited! ️ This is a renovated villa where he lived every summer from 1931 to 1961 (until the year before his death). I read about his detailed background at a memorial museum in Kanazawa! ️ Shortly after his birth, he was taken to a temple called Senkazan Uhoin, which was close to his birthplace, and he had a very difficult childhood. There were many other things that happened in your life after that, but the result of overcoming it on your own was Saisei Muro. ️ There was a corner on the second floor where you could listen to Saisei's voice through headphones ♫ Many school songs were written, including Kanazawa University's school song! ️ The voice in the scene where the story was being told felt very honest!! ️ There was also a corner where you could trace the word Saisei written thinly on the manuscript paper, so I wrote one. ^ - ^ I had fun tracing the distinctive character of Saisei (^-^) There were so many materials that it took us over an hour to tour, but I wish I had stayed longer. It was very helpful and made my heart soar (o^^o) I visited several places on this trip to Kanazawa, and I thought the Muro Saisei Memorial Museum was a very good one! ️ ☆☆☆☆☆ ☆☆☆☆☆ It was OK to take pictures in the space on the first floor ^ - ^ I thought about sitting in a nice chair in front of the TV for a while (lol) but it was very comfortable 😆😆😆

This is a quiet memorial hall in Sennichimachi. You can clearly understand Saisei Muro's life and works. I was able to watch videos and have a relaxing time. Saisei apparently loved birds, and there was a special exhibition about the birds Saisei loved, and the sounds of the birds inside the museum were soothing.

The memorial hall was built on the site of Saisei's birthplace, and you can also see the temple where he was adopted nearby and the flow of the Saigawa River, which he was familiar with during his childhood. The exhibit is an easy-to-understand exhibit that provides an overview of Saisei's life and works. Admission fees are also very low. Please note that there seems to be only about 5 parking spaces available.

One of the Three Great Writers of Kanazawa. (His handwriting is so cute) Representative works: "Collection of Love Poems" (1918), "Collection of Lyrical Songs" (1918)...etc. The theme of the display changes from time to time. There are many exclusive souvenirs in the merchandise area next to the counter on the 1st floor. We highly recommend the chopstick holder modeled after Mr. Muro’s beloved cats and made by a local potter in Kanazawa. Ticket: ¥310/person (can use Kanazawa City Cultural Facilities Common Viewing Ticket)

I stopped by during my trip to Kanazawa. This is the first time I learned about Muro Saisei's background. You are a person who has worked very hard. There were many photos and documents from Kanazawa and Karuizawa, which he loved, on display and it was worth seeing. It was a pity that I couldn't take pictures inside the building.

It is a very beautiful building, and the background, history, and works of Muro Saisei are displayed in an easy-to-understand manner. Saisei Muro's one and only overseas trip to China left a lasting impression on me.

A work of Saisei and a bronze made of it? It was very easy to get into my heart when they were displayed side by side.
